Ines Gonzalez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master’s degree from NYU School of Social Work and is a Licensed Psychoanalyst with a degree from the Harlem Family Psychoanalytic Institute.  She has over twenty years of experience working in clinical practice, administration and clinical supervision.  Ms. Gonzalez has had a private practice for several years, has provided extensive trainings to agencies like Planned Parenthood and Good Shepherd Services Training Institute on working with Latino Families and Youth and has provided logistical and strategic planning consultation to local agencies through a private firm she founded with two colleagues – Bilingual Clinical Solutions.  As the founding Clinical Director and subsequently Director of the NY Regional Chapter of the North American Family Institute, she helped to create a community-based system of care and wraparound services for Westchester County youth previously served in restrictive residential settings – mostly youth with chronic mental illness and juvenile justice system involvement.  Ms. Gonzalez helped found the Family Center at Neighbor’s Link, a community center for immigrant families in Mt. Kisco, NY.  Currently Ms. Gonzalez works for the Department of Education and is an adjunct at the Silver Graduate School of Social Work at NYU and at the CUNY’s CSI School of Social Work.
