Candice Goldberg, LCSW, is a graduate of Columbia University’s School of Social Work. After her graduate degree, Candice completed a postgraduate clinical externship program at the Ackerman Institute for the Family and completed a certificate program in Somatic Experiencing. Since receiving her Master’s degree in 1996, Candice has worked as a social worker and supervisor in a wide host of settings including an urban medical center, social service agency and the NYC public school system. Throughout her career, Candice has maintained a special interest in working with individuals and families in the area of trauma, sibling relationships, chronic illness and grief/loss.
Previously, Candice taught family therapy at the NYU Child Study Center and frequently lectures on a variety of family therapy and clinical social work topics.
Candice maintains a private practice on the Upper West Side of Manhattan where she works with individuals, couples and families. Additionally, Candice is a Clinical Associate of the Ackerman Institute’s Center for Families and Health where she works with families affected by illness.
