Anne Briggs, MSW, LCSW has worked in the social work field for over 20 years. She began her career as a child and adolescent therapist providing counseling in a variety of settings such as a university counseling center, domestic violence shelter, therapeutic residential facility and a psychiatric hospital.  More recently, she has focused on non-profit management working on institutional effectiveness initiatives such as program evaluation, quality improvement, and grants management.  She is currently the Project Leader at Family & Children’s Agency in Connecticut and teaches social work and human services courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.  She has Bachelors degrees in Education and Sociology from Bucknell University, a Masters degree in Social Work from Boston College, and is currently pursuing her EdD in Organizational Leadership at Northeastern University.
