Adjunct Assistant Professor
Angela Ghesquiere is mental health services researcher, and is currently a Research Scientist at the Brookdale Center for Healthy Aging at Hunter College, the City University of New York. Dr. Ghesquiere’s research seeks to increase the access and quality of care for older adults experiencing mental health disorders after bereavement. Dr. Ghesquiere has worked as a case manager and has coordinated several federally-funded intervention studies in the fields of grief, loss, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. She was also a fellow in geriatric mental health services research at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Ghesquiere received her PhD in Social Work from Columbia University, her MSW from Washington University in St. Louis and her BA in Psychology from Smith College.
