Office of Professional Excellence Workshop

User experience (UX) is a discipline that informs product and design decisions by deeply understanding users’ needs, motivations and pain points, and developing empathy for users to ensure the products they build truly solve user problems. This workshop, led by Sofia Qin (bio), will show how the skills developed in this field overlap with those of the social work profession, and how UX research and problem-solving methods can be adapted for social services.
