About the Workshop
Join us for a moderated discussion with activist and sexuality educator Ericka Hart (bio) on what reproductive justice and reproductive health looks like in the current socio-political context. Topics will include the potential impact of the recent SCOTUS appointment; the 2020 election results; and the role of social workers, other professionals and social service providers in the fight for reproductive justice. This discussion will also examine how whiteness, religious conservatism, and politics can affect access to sex education, and the challenges this can pose to bodily autonomy. The intention of the workshop is to create a forum that provides opportunity for participants to engage in dialogue and ask questions live.
