Social work and trans liberation go hand in hand─there is no type of social work that does not include working with trans participants in some capacity. Even in LGBTQ-specific conversations at CSSW, though, the “T” is typically sidelined, if not left out completely. The TGNC caucus was created with the goal of furthering support, understanding, and action around trans identities and issues.
