The purpose of the Social Media Caucus is to bring the many relevant and complex issues of social work and how they are portrayed or interrelated with the media. It is no secret than in the past 20 or so years, the way people communicate, entertain, and get much of their information is through the use of social media and, more generally, the internet.
The Caucus aims to inform students of the many behavioral concerns, challenges, and benefits that contemporary media provides through inviting expert speakers to campus.
