The mission of the AGE (Advocates for Gerontological Education) Caucus is to promote a greater understanding of the aging community and to advocate on their behalf. The caucus provides unique opportunities for students to volunteer with the elderly; refers students to and hosts educational events and seminars that focus on gerontology; allows all students and Aging field of practice professors the chance to work together, and provides networking opportunities and job search assistance in the field of gerontology.
The Advocates for Gerontological Education (AGE) promotes a greater understanding of the aging community as well as the field of gerontology in order to best advocate for their needs and support their wellbeing.
